Jared Forman is a Composer and Music Producer, based in Los Angeles. Notable credits include: Badland, Making a Murderer, Star Wars Rebels, Jane the Virgin, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Hell on Wheels, and Alice Through the Looking Glass. Jared has worked on projects of all shapes and sizes. From an 80-piece orchestra to a solo instrument, the wild west to a galaxy far away, and songwriting for children’s programming to big epic music for trailers/promo spots.

Jared is a multi-instrumentalist that loves blending organic and synthesized sounds to create unique textures. Utilizing this with his traditional music training and modern composition techniques, gives his music a new yet familiar sound. Having worked alongside renowned composers Gustavo Santaolalla, Kevin Kiner, and Danny Elfman, Jared’s musical contributions span many critically acclaimed and award winning scores.
Jared's music is also heard by millions of viewers in Mexico for the El Heraldo Nightly News theme and several popular talkshows.

Jared has been involved in music from a very early age, playing on beginner’s guitars & his Dad’s Wurlitzer organ. He started playing Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, and guitar (formally) around the age of 10. Shortly after, he picked up electric bass, Tenor Saxophone, and Drum Set. Writing songs & small compositions throughout high school, he quickly found that his niche was composing. Jared started working as an assistant engineer to the late Brian Friedman (Ike & Tina Turner, Jerry Fuller, Michael Bloomfield) in his mid-teens where he got a lot of experience with musicians, singers, and producers. Continuing producing & engineering through college, he also began being mentored by music producer Marc Mann. After receiving his Bachelor's degree in music from California State University, Northridge, Jared started working alongside composer Steve Bauman and together they wrote for various Music Libraries, and have seen placements throughout many television shows, films, and commercials. From there, Jared found his passion in music for visual media.
Jared is accompanied in his studio by his corgi, and occasionally his cat, surrounded by an assortment of instruments from around the world that he has collected over the years.
